Smt. Ilora Ghosh Mondol, Sr. Member, Sanyukta Mahila Samiti visited NTPC Farakka on 26th and 27th Dec 2022. Smt. Maya Singh, President, Udita Ladies Club along with the ULC committee members welcomed the esteemed guest at NTPC Farakka.

During the visit, Smt. Ilora Ghosh Mondol interacted with the beneficiary female children of Kanya Poshan Scheme being run by Udita Ladies Club Welfare School on 26.12.2022. She also distributed winter garments to all the 45 children and encouraged them to study hard by utilizing the opportunity given by NTPC.

Further to facilitate women for economic independency and social upliftment, under the skill and livelihood development initiative of NTPC Farakka CSR, the third batch of Sewing & Tailoring training of 30 women was inaugurated by Smt. Ilora Ghosh Mondol. She interacted with all the trainees and motivated them to learn the skill efficiently and utilize the same as a means of livelihood development.

On 27.12.2022, under NTPC Farakka’s CSR initiative, ration and blankets were distributed to the underprivileged students of Bharat Sevashram Sangh (Milan Mandir). Bharat Sevasram has been successfully running a residential school for tribal students who belong to the border areas of Jharkhand and Bengal.

All the events were successfully conducted under the esteemed presence of the guest of honor Smt. Ilora Ghosh Mondol, Sr. Member, Sanyukta Ladies Club, whose guiding and encouraging words motivated us all.
